3 Card Poler Rules

3 card poker was originally known as Casino brag. This gambling game is usually 2 in one, and it is very popular in many casinos. The player is allowed to play the two games or one of them at the same period. However, this does not apply in all casinos because some will expect the player to get involved in the two games, all at the same time

In the two games, the player is expected to play against the dealer.

In this game, there are 2 bets which the player can make, which includes the pair plus and the ante. The player can decide to bet either both of them or just one. Ante is the bet that the player plays against the dealer, while on the other hand the pair plus is fully independent. This depends on what the dealer has got, and it’s a bet on if the player’s 3 hand cards will end up getting a pair or a higher value in it. The pair plus bet always looses once the player gets less than one pair.

After the bets have been made, the player receives 3 cards. Once the ante bets have been placed, the player decides if they are ready to make another bet to get higher than the value of the dealer’s hand, or decide to simply fold. If the player decides to fold, then they end up loosing the ante bet entirely. But on the other hand if they decide to play along, the player is expected to place yet another bet which is supposed to be equal to the ante bet already on the table.

Once all the bets have been made by the players, the dealer then flips over his cards for all to see. The dealer must either have a better, or a queen high to play. If that’s not the case, the player does not qualify. On failure to qualify, then the players are entitled to payment of one to one on the initial ante bets made, and along with that, the players at this point have got the room to take their play bets back.

On the other hand, if the dealer ends up qualifying, he then compares what his hand has got with the players and this is how he determines who the overall winner is.

In this game, there are variations on the hands which are based on the best to the worst in the game, which are as follows:

-The three of a kind

-straight flush

-high card

Once the players win, they are supposed to be paid on a one to one basis, depending on the ante and the play bets made. On the other hand, if the players hand is a better or a straight, they get an additional bonus beyond the designed standard payout. Notice that the bonus is fully applicable to the pair plus bet and the ante bet.
